New Store Opens in Wburg

Harry Allender and Marion Patterson were buying up goods for their new Williamsburg grocery store. They were to occupy the building formerly used by Patterson’s undertaking establishment.

Issac Bayer was remodeling the cellar and porch of his Loysburg home.

S.F. Gates, one of Waterside’s prominent citizens, representing Woodcock & Curry, woolen manufacturers, announced that he would be a candidate for sheriff of Bedford County on the Republican ticket.
