    The Northern Bedford FBLA performed very well at the 2022 National Leadership Conference held in Chicago. Six members and their advisor traveled to Chicago to compete in events and sightsee the city's different highlights, such as Wrigley Field, the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Oak Street Beach, 360 Chicago, and more.   • NBC Finishes Season in First Round of Playoffs

    The NBC baseball team ended their season with a 4-0 loss at Fannett-Metal in the first round of the D-5 playoffs this week. The Panthers struggled to get anything going offensively in this one, managing just six hits and zero runs. When the Panthers did reach base, they struggled with baserunning and were put out at second base on two different occasions, stopping potential rallies.     The Panthers went 0-2 this week to finish the regular season. They lost to Everett by a score of 10-0, and then dropped a close game with Juniata Valley by a score of 7-6. They ended the regular season with a record of 7-11.     The Panthers baseball team went 2-1 this week, beating Claysburg, losing at McConnellsburg, and beating Forbes Road. This moves their overall record to 7-9 on the year. To begin the week, the Panthers held on to beat Claysburg at home by a score of 7-6. They took an early 6-2 lead after two innings, but didn’t take chances they were given to put the game away.     The Northern Bedford Panthers went 0-2 this week, dropping games to both Tussey and Everett. They are now 5-8 on the season, going 2-8 over their last ten games.     This week in NBC Panther baseball, the team won one game and lost three games. To begin the week, the Panthers lost both ends of a doubleheader to Southern Huntingdon.
