A tri axle dump truck hauling lime feed material rolled onto its side on Dunnings Highway and Woodbury Pike, Freedom Township, on Dec. 28. According to Freedom Township police, the driver was coming off Interstate 99 toward Roaring Spring and suffered a brake failure. A Penelec spokesman said that the planned power outage on Dec. 28, 2022, went mostly as planned but he could not verify that the upgrades will improve electric power reliability in Morrisons Cove.
