  • Northern Bedford FFA Supports Puerto Rico Project

    The Northern Bedford FFA collected items for Puerto Rico FFA from Jan. 27 to Feb. 7. Personal care items were collected to help with the relief project after the earthquakes that destroyed the island. The NB FFA collected a total of 767 items with an original goal of 500. Fifteen students attended ACES in Harrisburg where the collected items were taken. The Pennsylvania FFA gathered all donated items and shipped them to Puerto Rico.   • Districts Can Apply For Scholarships To Flight 93 National Memorial

    The Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial (Friends) are awarding funds to school districts within Western Pennsylvania to support transportation costs to Flight 93 National Memorial. Regional school districts are encouraged to apply for transportation funding to visit the memorial and participate in Pennsylvania standard-based educational programming developed for grade levels 4-12.     Juniata College's Mock Trial team will proceed on to the opening round of national competition after a successful showing at the regional tournament at Penn State University the weekend of Feb. 8.
