  • The Mueller Report, Part I

    Wayne Bush|Aug 15, 2019

When the Mueller Report first came out, the haters were in total denial. After lying to the American people for over two years, they refused to believe that Mueller found no "collusion." They insisted that Mueller, despite his exhaustive investigation conducted by an entire team of Clinton-supporting lawyers, missed it. Their loyal minions, duped by Trump haters and blinded by their hate, still believe everything they're told. It brings to mind Aesop's fable "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," except in t...

To make settling into your new abode much easier, start by thinking about the process backwards and consider these tips: 1. Measure everything...

  • Old Order Mennonite Memoirs

    Roseann Zimmerman, Correspondent|Aug 15, 2019

"Splat, splat!" Raindrops pelted on the cabbage leaves in the Fair Valley garden where we were cutting heavy heads from their summer home. The wind-driven raindrops that chased us were only the first in three thunderstorms we received last week. Although we were glad for the refreshing showers, here at home on Tuesday, my husband wished he would have skipped lunch. Perhaps then he could have baled the last four rounds of dry hay before the sudden storm. Besides cabbage heads to cut, we worked...

  • Thought for the Week

    Pastor Earl Herr, Correspondent|Aug 15, 2019

As it should be, the church is comprised of all age groups. In the same way there are people at all stages of spiritual development. Some need spiritual milk for they are babes in Christ. Some crave spiritual meat. They are hungry and eager for solid spiritual food. We can judge the natural age of church folk but we can...
