  • Thought for the Week

    Pastor Earl Herr|Nov 3, 2022

Sometimes I will join in some sort of game and someone will declare that we are just playing for fun and that there is no need to keep score. I am always appalled at that. What is the point of a game if the purpose is not to determine a winner? I suppose there were a few times when my sons were especially young that I let them win. That was rare and...

    Nov 3, 2022

The Blair County Board of Elections hereby notifies the voters in the Nov. 8, 2022, election that there is a misprint in the header when a ballot is printed from the Express Vote machine. The Express Vote machine is utilized in each precinct to assist those with disabilities in marking their ballots. The top line of the header mistakenly reads "BLAIR COUNTY, PENNSLVANIA/PHILALPHI" when printed, when it should read "BLAIR COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA/PENNSYLVANIA." This typographical error has no bearing on the processing or counting of...
