    On Wednesday night, the Claysburg Lady Bulldogs defeated the Mount Union Trojans 41-37. Despite being down a starter, the Bulldogs still started off strong going into the first and second quarters, and at halftime, Claysburg had a solid 14-point lead as the Trojans lagged behind.   • NBC Panther Select Choir Carols At UPMC Altoona

    The NBC Panther Select Choir traveled to UPMC Altoona to sing for guests and employees in the hospital atrium. After being treated to a lunch from the hospital executive chef, the students then sang for employees in the hospital cafeteria. The choir was led by Mr. Brett Keith.     Five members of the Central Cove FFA will be receiving their Keystone FFA Degrees at the PA FFA Mid-Winter Convention on Monday, Jan. 9, at the PA Farm Show.
