Central Girls Place Third At Hollidaysburg Tournament

The Central Lady Dragons opened the season participating in tournament play at Hollidaysburg. Central opened with perennial power Blairsville and came up short 51-34 on Dec. 7.

The Lady Dragons had difficulty with Blairsville’s pressure defense early in the game and trailed 26-16 at intermission. The second half was basically even with Blairsville winning the third frame and the Dragons the fourth.

Kylie Metzger paced the Central offense with 13 points and added seven rebounds and a pair of blocked shots. Jenna Mock and Eicher scored six points each and Maddi Metzler five.
