Chuck Kensinger of Martinsburg sat on Santa's lap on Dec. 8 at Long's Outpost, Martinsburg RR. Kensinger taught Santa in sixth grade at Roaring Spring Elementary School. Santa was delighted to have his teacher tell him what he wanted for Christmas.
Santa enjoyed talking to children and hearing their wishes for Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 8, at Long's Outpost, Martinsburg RR.
More than 50 children enjoyed their time with Santa as parents took pictures.
Santa provided each child with candy treats, popcorn ball, cookies and milk. For some of the little ones, the experience was rather frightening.
One little girl, Stella Rose Long, wrote a beautiful letter to Santa. Santa asked this letter be shared with the Morrisons Cove Herald.
"This letter is from the heart," Santa said, "and it shows the true meaning of Christmas."
