Central High School's World Language Club visited the Soldiers and Sailors Museum in Pittsburgh on Oct. 30 for a flaemco ballet. Club advisors Louise Wilson and Kevin Buynack took 33 students to see two performances of Hispanic dances from all over the globe.
The Central High School World Language Club visited the Soldiers and Sailors Museum in Pittsburgh for a flamenco ballet and then had lunch at the Mallorca restaurant across the river on Oct. 30.
Club advisors Louise Wilson and Kevin Buynack took 33 students to see two performances of Hispanic dances from all over the globe. The students enjoyed watching the shows.
Afterward, they tasted paella (rice with seafood), along with flan or chocolate cake, at Mallorca, where the owners are from Spain. The students were able to experience a lot of Hispanic culture in a short amount of time.
