Kyle Daugherty, a junior at Hollidaysburg Area High School, gets pointers from Scott Sheehan on some challenging tuba music. Daugherty and three other HAHS music students were accepted to the Carnegie Hall Honors Performance Series where they will perform in February with music students from across the globe. Sheehan is one of 10 nominees for the national GRAMMY Museum Music Educator Award for 2019.
Scott Sheehan, director of bands and music department chairman at the Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School (HAHS), is one of 10 nominees for the GRAMMY Museum Music Educator Award for 2019. The top 10 finalists were announced on "CBS This Morning" on Dec. 12.
