How to Recycle Paper, Boxes, Lights, Trees

This Christmas season, the Blair County Intermunicipal Relations Committee (IRC) is offering some new and old holiday recycling opportunities.

The IRC is once again hosting the holiday drop-off at the Logan Valley Mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.on Dec. 26 through Dec. 27.

The drop-off can be found in the Sears/J.C. Penney's parking lot by KFC along Goods Lane.

Participants are encouraged to bring all their gift boxes, cardboard boxes, wrapping paper and plastic bags to the drop-off.

The IRC will not be able to accept Styrofoam or rigid plastics at the drop-off event this year.
