Gas prices in Western Pennsylvania were nearly nine cents cheaper at the end of the year at $2.525 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
Statewide, gasoline was about five cents cheaper in Pennsylvania at $2.54. Nonetheless, the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region remains one of the most expensive regions in the country this week.
