M-burg Area Comm. Fund Nears Goal Of $43,000

The Martinsburg Area Community Fund has received a total of $40,263 through Friday, Jan. 4.

The amount received is $2,737 short of the goal of $43,000.

Residents and businesses in the Martinsburg and surrounding sarea who did not receive letters regarding the fund drive but wish to contribute may send monetary donations to the Martinsburg Area Community Fund, P.O. Box 240, Martinsburg, PA 16662.

The annual fund drive will support 15 charitable agencies that do work in the Martinsburg area.
