Hornets Sting Blue Pirates

Juniata Valley scored at least 20 points in each of the four quarters during its 91-49 victory at Williamsburg on Jan. 3 in high school boys’ basketball action.

The Green Hornets led 21-15 after one quarter and 41-30 at the break. Juniata Valley outscored Williamsburg 50-19 in the second half, including 25-4 in the final eight minutes.

Adam Uplinger’s 11 points led three Williamsburg players in double digits. Jared McCall and Shane Brantner each added 10 points.

Lambert Palmer added seven points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Blue Pirates.
