No Threat at Northern Bedford School District

To get ahead of the rumor mill, Northern Bedford School District administrators on Friday, Feb. 1, alerted parents with an automatic message regarding an issue in the district.

Todd Beatty, Northern Bedford superintendent, told the Herald that “there is absolutely nothing to it. Standard issues dealt with by school administrators.”

Beatty said that he only sent the message because of Facebook and social media rumor mill.

“The mind can run wild in the absence of information,” Beatty said. “The school has been running normal operations and will continue to do so.”
