DR. DEAN S. 'STEVE' WAKEFIELD

Dr. Dean S. “Steve” Wakefield, 64, of Saxton, passed away on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

A funeral was held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Weaver Funeral Home LLC www.weaversfh.com, Woodbury. Pastor Kathy Speck officiated.

Interment was at the Loysburg Community Cemetery South.

Steve was born on Sept. 29, 1954, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, son of Joseph E., who is deceased, and Jean (Snyder) Wakefield, who survives.

He married Janice L. Miller on Sept. 25, 1976, at the Loysburg Church of Christ.
