C-K's Harr Qualifies for AA Regionals

The Claysburg-Kimmel High School wrestling team will send one wrestler to the upcoming regional tournament.

Junior Kobe Harr will wrestle in the 160-pound bracket at Southwest Class 2A Regional Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22-23, at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Harr placed sixth at the District 6 Class 2A championships on Feb. 15-16 at Altoona Area High School. Harr suffered a 2-1 setback to Richland’s Jason Sabol in the battle for fifth place.

Harr is 25-5 entering the regional tournament.

As a team, the Bulldogs placed 25th in the 27-team field with 26 points.
