To reach the state playoffs, the Central Dragon basketball team needed to defeat two top Mountain League rivals – Tyrone and Huntingdon – in the District 6 4A playoffs.
Central was able to survive against Tyrone on Feb. 21 but was eliminated by Huntingdon Saturday afternoon, Feb. 23.
