Bush, Jeffries Swim to States

Central High School swimmers Christopher Bush (left) and Jackson Jeffries recently competed in the District 6 Class 2A Swimming Championships at Penn State.

Bush swam the 200-yard individual medley and placed first with a school record of 2:04.25. He placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.20. Bush's first-place finish garnered him a slot in the high school state swimming championships at Bucknell University. He will swim on Wednesday, March 13.

Jeffries swam the 50-yard freestyle in 22.54 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 49.16 seconds. He set new school records...
