Mother, Daughter Hurt in Fall

Herald of Mar. 22, 1894

Mrs. Holliday Reynolds and her daughter Lucy were injured when they fell backward from a wagon as the seat on which they were riding gave way. The girl received a few bruises, but her mother suffered a badly strained neck. The family was returning home from the funeral of Mrs. Reynolds’ mother when the accident happened.

It was reported that the Republican Primary was well attended by voters.

A group of Roaring Spring residents joined together to present the drama “The Deacon.” The proceeds of the play were to be donated to an unnamed charity.
