PAUL E. TIPTON

Paul E. Tipton, 82, of Martinsburg RR, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 20, 2019, at AristaCare at Huntingdon Park.

A funeral was held on Saturday, March 23, at Woodbury Church of the Brethren. Pastor David Ulm officiated.

Private interment was held at Kensinger Cemetery, Martinsburg RR.

Paul was born on June 28, 1936, in Roaring Spring, son of the late G. Elvin and N. Margaret (Kensinger) Tipton.

Surviving are three sisters: Emily Jane Exline of Martinsburg RR, Kay I. Vandrew of San Diego and Linda J. Stewart of Martinsburg RR; and two brothers: Dennis G. Tipton of Roaring Spring RR and Dale R. Tipton of Saxton.

Paul attended Morrison Cove High School, Martinsburg, and was a member of Woodbury Church of the Brethren.

He retired from Cove Shoe Factory, Martinsburg, where he worked as a shoe laster and also in the maintenance department, with a total of 45 years of service.

Paul enjoyed mowing grass and also driving local Mennonite friends and families to various destinations.
