Theft by Deception

State Police, Hollidaysburg, are investigating a case of theft by deception that occurred between March 17 and March 19. According to police, a 41-year-old Williamsburg man attempted to purchase a dog through the website Dachshundhome.com, which turned out to be a fraudulent site. The victim was defrauded out of $650.

Criminal Mischief

State Police, Hollidaysburg, are investigating a case of criminal mischief against a 70-year-old Roaring Spring man. Police said sometime between Nov. 11 and Dec. 31, someone damaged an outhouse, valued at $200 on the man's property.
