W. Pa. Gas Prices Increase Slightly; Inventory Tightens Nationwide

The average price of gasoline across Western Pennsylvania is a penny more expensive this week at $2.809 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.

The Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region saw moderate fluctuations on the week (Pennsylvania, +1 cent).

For a second week, the region was the only one to see gas stocks build. Moreover, the region is the only one in the country to have a year-over-year surplus of gasoline, sitting at 8.2 million higher than last year.

With this week’s build of 572,000 barrels, total stocks sit at 64.5 million according to Energy Information...
