VIRGINIA M. DROBNOEK

Virginia M. Drobnoek, 90, of Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday morning, March 26, 2019, at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Williamsburg. Father Clement Gardner and Deacon George Wachter will be con-celebrants.

Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Williamsburg. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

Virginia was born on April 9, 1928, in Patton, daughter of the late Augustine Luke "Guston" and Evelyn Anna (Bortman) McConnell.

She married Michael Drobnoek on Aug. 30, 1949, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Williamsburg. He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1995.

Surviving are her three sons: Michael of Duncansville, Donald of Altoona and Robert of Hartslog Valley; two daughters: Nancy Marie (John) Demko of Aiken, South Carolina, and Carolyn Ann (Terry) Wagner of Beaumont, Texas; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grand children; a brother, Robert McConnell; and two sisters: Rose Piersanti, and Mary Louise McCarthy.

She was preceded in death by six brothers; Frances W. "William," Oscar O., Norman F., Donald D., Thomas P. and James E. McConnell; and two sisters, Leanore McConnell and Theresa May Cybert.

Virginia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Williamsburg, and Bonner Sollenberger American Legion Post 456 Ladies Auxiliary, Williamsburg.

She was primarily a homemaker, who loved gardening, puzzles, and playing bingo.

Memorial contributions in memory of Virginia can be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 628 W. First St., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
