Owner of Cove Valley Airport Asks Supervisors for Zoning Protection

Chris Bartel, who owns the Cove Valley Airport near Williamsburg, discussed a proposed solar farm coming to area near Bartel’s field with the Woodbury Township supervisors during the regular meeting on April 4.

Bartel asked the supervisors to “strongly” consider enacting Pa. Act 164, Chapter 59, titled “Airport Operation and Zoning.” The act provides instructions for those looking to erect, add to, or maintain airport approach obstructions.
