Blair County Commissioners have agreed to advance $100,000, as tax money become available, for construction of a new taxiway at the Blair County Airport, Martinsburg. The agreement for the construction calls for the Federal government to pay 50 percent of the total cost of $130,000, and the state and county governments 25 percent each. The county is thus advancing a good portion of the state and Federal commitment in order that the work may proceed promptly.
