Bulldogs Win 2 of 3; Now 5-4

The Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs’ baseball team improved to 5-4 overall with two wins during the past week.

Host Southern Huntingdon rallied from a 3-0 deficit to edge C-K 4-3 on April 8.

The Bulldogs took a 3-0 lead in the second, thanks in part to a two-RBI hit by Corey Chamberlain. Lucas Mock, Preston Bush and Zach McCarty scored in the inning.

Southern Huntingdon scored once in the third and three times in the fifth.

Hayden Ickes and Dominic Francona each pitched three innings for the Bulldogs. Francona took the loss. Ickes struck out three.
