Lady Panthers Move to 5-1 on Year

The Northern Bedford Lady Panthers’ softball team is 5-1 following a 9-6 home win against Tussey Mountain on April 11.

After each team scored three runs in the first inning, NB took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the second. With the score tied at 4-4, Northern Bedford pushed across five runs in the fifth inning en route to the victory.

Madison Johnson and Allie Snider each drove in two runs for the Lady Panthers.

Winning pitcher Sarah Heck struck out seven and walked four.
