Meck Named Coach of NB Boys' B-ball

Northern Bedford’s school board on April 9 hired Randy Meck, on a unanimous vote, to become the new boys ‘varsity basketball coach for the Panthers starting with the 2019-20 season.

Meck has 14 years head coaching experience, most notably at both Forbes Road and Chestnut Ridge, where he turned both programs around and won Ridge’s first-ever league title as the head coach.

“We are very excited to have someone with the knowledge, energy and enthusiasm of Randy’s caliber taking over our boys’ program,” said Jeff Batzel, Northern Bedford athletic director.
