Watters Earns Top State Photography Awards

Everett photographer Della Watters, owner of WattersWorks & Co., was recently awarded Best Wedding Image Maker for 2019 with the Pennsylvania Professional Photographers of America.

In addition, Watters was also awarded the 2019 Fuji Masterpiece Best Wedding print and the PPA of PA 2019 Award for Best Artist print. She earned six blue ribbons and entry into Club 320, an elite designation for photographers who have scored at least four images earning merits. The annual print competition was evaluated by five nationally accredited judges and jurors in training attending the yearly convention held in Carlisle.

Watters is a certified professional photographer through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the largest and longest-standing nonprofit photography trade association with a 150-year history. PPA currently helps more than 30,000 professionals elevate their craft and grow their business with resources, protection, and education, all under PPA's core guiding principle of bridging the gap between photographers and consumers.

Watters serves on the executive board of governors for the state affiliate, PPA of PA, where she serves as secretary and a member of the print committee. She is also an instructor for PPA's Super One-Day training seminars.

Watters is a wedding, event and portrait photographer in Bedford and surrounding counties. She has been working with Bedford Springs for more than 10 years where she photographs many weddings, corporate events and family gatherings.

Her winning images will advance to the multi-state District Print Competition and the yearly International Print Competition sponsored through PPA.
