Pope Resigns from IRC to Join Hollidaysburg Borough

Katrina Pope enjoyed the education aspect of her tenure with the IRC. Here, she teaches a youth group how to sort recyclables from trash.

Katrina Pope announced to her current Intermunicipal Relations Committee employers on Tuesday, April 23, that she would be leaving her position as education and enforcement coordinator, effective May 18.

This news came just weeks after the same group received John Frederick's resignation as executive director.

While Blair County's recycling organization, the IRC, was grappling with a change in leadership, coincidentally the Borough of Hollidaysburg simultaneously decided to replace its Main Street Manager program with a comprehensive community-driven position.
