Roaring Spring Woman Facing Stolen Checks, Credit Card Fraud Charges

A Roaring Spring woman has been arrested for stealing checks and using the credit cards of a man she was hired to help.

Tonya J. White, 36, of Roaring Spring, faces multiple felony counts of forgery, access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property after police said she used the victim’s credit cards and forged checks without his knowledge.

According to the charges, White had been hired to help the victim, a Roaring Spring man, with housework and paying his bills.
