Traffic to Switch on the Hopewell Bridge Project

PennDOT on April 18 announced that prime contractor HRI Inc., of State College, was scheduled to switch traffic on Tuesday, April 23, on the Hopewell Bridge Replacement Project in Hopewell Borough, Bedford County.

On Tuesday, the contractor was scheduled to set temporary concrete barrier to switch traffic to the opposite side of PA 26 and would re-set the temporary traffic signals. Throughout the rest of the week there will be flagging with delays while overhead utilities are removed. Delays will be likely; motorists are advised to allow extra time or seek and alternate route.
