W-bury Donates to Home Nursing, Library

Woodbury Borough Council met on Monday, April 1.

Expenditures for March were $26,756. Upcoming expenditures for April are $2,661, which include a donation to Home Nursing for $150 and the Bedford County Library for $200.

Welcome signs for the borough are an ongoing project.

There is an interested party that would like to tear down the Kauffman house, which was an old hotel house, depending on fees being waived for past-due sewage and water bills. This will take some research and communication before anything is final.

The community yard sale will be held Friday and Saturday, June 7-8.

Council will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 6.
