CHS Track, Field Teams Have 'Solid Showings'

The Central Dragon boys’ track and Field team lost a pair of events against Mountain Conference foes Tyrone and Bellefonte last week. Central fell to Tyrone 75.5-74.5 and to Bellefonte 95.5-54.5.

Josh Biesinger paced the Dragons with a pair of individual victories. Josh won the 400-meter run (55.8) and the high jump (5-6). He also teamed with double winners WT Davis and Colby Liebal along with Parker Gregg to win the 4x400 in 3:49.4. Davis was first in the 1600-meter run (4:53.5) and 800-meter run (2:13.3).
