Two Defeats Send NBC Softball to 5-3 on Year

Northern Bedford dropped its two games in the past week in high school softball action.

The two setbacks dropped the Lady Panthers to 5-3 overall.

At Northern Bedford on April 16, Everett broke open a tight game with seven runs in the fifth en route to a 14-4 victory in a game called after five innings because of the mercy rule.

Everett led 6-1 before Northern Bedford pulled to within 6-4 after three innings. Everett then scored once in the fourth followed by the big seven-run frame.
