What’s not to like about the start of summer? With May being here already, I am ready for laying out, swimming, and cookouts with my family. Here are two tasty cookout recipes that are sure to get you ready for summer.

Creamy Coleslaw

Since it is Mother’s Day next week, I decided to do one of my mother’s favorite things in the whole world (besides me of course) – cole slaw. I swear my mom could eat cole slaw with everything.


1 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup white vinegar

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/4 tsp. paprika

1 pound cabbage, cored, cubed and chopped
