Advertisements for Bids

Sealed proposals will be received by the Huston Township of Blair County at 1230 Piney Creek Rd., Martinsburg, PA 16662 until 7 p.m. on May 13, 2019 for the following:

Item 1, 770 Ton Warm Mix Scratch and Leveling Course, 9.5mm, In Place

Item 2, 290 Ton, Warm Mix Wearing Course, 9.5mm, In Place

Item 3, 800 Ton, Warm Mix Wearing Course, 12.5mm, In Place

The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage ACT applies to this project only if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.00.

Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day.

Proposals must by upon the forms furnished by the Municipality.

For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipality types it is the discretion of the municipality.

A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded.

The Municipality reserved the right to reject any or all proposals.

Invitation to bidders

Northern Bedford County School District High School Track Re-surfacing

Northern Bedford School District will receive bids for work related to the re-surfacing of the Track at Northern Bedford County High School, located at 152 NBC Drive, Loysburg PA 16659. A mandatory meeting for the bidders is set for May 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the District Office.

Bids shall be accompanied by a 10% Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Treasure’s Check, or Bid Bond, naming as the oblige Northern Bedford County School District. Prospective bidders are advised that this project is subject to and will be governed by provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Sealed bids are due May 13, 2019, by 1 p.m. for the bid opening.
