Baseball Team Helps Improve Park

On Monday, May 6, volunteers from the Central High School baseball team, along with coaches A.J. Hoenstine and Joe Logan, volunteered their time after practice to move two truck loads of mulch into Acorn Cove Playpark. The mulch was donated by the Martinsburg Booster Association. The park has annually preformed improvements to Acorn Cove.

"It was great to see the next generation of citizens within our community to come out and volunteer a bit of their time to make the playpark a great recreation area for our next generation," Chuck Gojmerac, the park's executive director, said.
