Geeseytown-Newry Lutheran Parish Names Interim Minister

The Newry Lutheran Church held a fundraiser on Saturday, May 4, to aid two children with medical issues.

Many bake goods including cream puffs, coconut cream pie, Rice Krispie treats, hot dogs and more were sold. There also were a variety of household items to be purchased at a reasonable price. The church raised $760, which will be split between the two children in need.

One of the children was born with their intestines outside of the body. The other child was born with Down syndrome and has some heart problems as well.
