Harassment

State Police, Hollidaysburg, have charged James Bywater, 40, of Bedford, with harassment. On April 30, police were called to the parking lot of the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Roaring Spring, where they said Bywater was harassing and physically preventing a 31-year-old female victim from leaving. Police said Bywater grabbed the victim and picked her up and attempted to place her in a vehicle. Bywater also drove his vehicle next to and in front of the victims vehicle impeding her path. Charges were filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Andrew Blattenberger, Martinsburg.
