State Police, Hollidaysburg, have charged James Bywater, 40, of Bedford, with harassment. On April 30, police were called to the parking lot of the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Roaring Spring, where they said Bywater was harassing and physically preventing a 31-year-old female victim from leaving. Police said Bywater grabbed the victim and picked her up and attempted to place her in a vehicle. Bywater also drove his vehicle next to and in front of the victims vehicle impeding her path. Charges were filed in the office of Magisterial District Judge Andrew Blattenberger, Martinsburg.

Criminal Mischief

State Police, Bedford, have charged Diana Smith, 25, of New Enterprise, with criminal mischief for damage to a vehicle on April 21.

Drug Possession

State Police, Bedford, have charged Justin Cunningham, 31, of Martinsburg, with drug possession. Police said Cunningham was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at his residence in Woodbury Township, Bedford County, on April 9.

Fleeing and Eluding

Shad Hillegass, 23, of Roaring Spring, was charged with fleeing and eluding police on Sproul Mountain Road at Lafayette Road, on May 2. State Police, Bedford, said Hillegass failed to stop for a stop sign and fled for approximately three miles before abandoning his vehicle.
