P-O 3, CHS 1

Dylan Claycomb was the hard-luck loser as she struck out three, walked just one and allowed only three hits. The loss dropped Central’s record to 9-6 on the season.

“It was another solid week against some pretty good competition,” Central coach Jonathan Burkett said. “We gave Ligonier their first loss and we had a huge advantage in hits in all three games. We were just a hit or two away from beating P-O, too. The girls are playing well and we’re getting contributions up and down the lineup.”
