Five Cove-Area Teams Qualify for Postseason

Five Morrisons Cove-area softball and baseball teams have qualified for the District 6 postseason, which is scheduled to get underway on Monday, May 20.

Qualifying softball teams include Claysburg-Kimmel and Williamsburg in Class 1A and Central in Class 3A.

In baseball, C-K will complete in the Class 2A field and Central in 3-A.

In softball action on Monday, No. 3 C-K will host No. 6 Williamsburg at 4 p.m. The winner will match up with either No. 2 Portage or No. 7 West Branch in a semifinal battle at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 23.
