Fire Damages Buildings

Martinsburg Fire truck was called out Sunday around 5 p.m. and made a quick trip to Loysburg, but at that, they arrived too late to save a barn, two garages, a pigpen and chickenhouse, all of which were practically burned down when the fireman arrived. Roaring Spring firemen came shortly after and the two companies concentrated their efforts on preventing the explosion of a 300-gallon gas tank which had just been filled. The fire had commenced burning the boards around the tank, and if the firemen had not been able to stop it there would have been an explosion that mi...
