GEORGANNE WICKER

Georganne Wicker, 45, of Roaring Spring, formerly of rural Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, May 20, 2019, at her home.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, May 23, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., http://www.bolgerfuneralhome.com, Martinsburg and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Claysburg Church of God. The Rev. Kim Swindell will officiate.

Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Georganne was born on Jan. 14, 1974, in Altoona, daughter of George J. and Connie L. (Ross) Corle.

She married Matthew H. Wicker Sr. on Feb. 14, 2011, in Las Vegas.

Surviving are her husband of Roaring Spring; her mother, Connie L. Corle-Stiffler (husband, Jerre) of James Creek; two daughters: Carrie Anne Wicker at home and Mickayla S. Oswald of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four sons: Cody J. Wicker of Martinsburg, Collin R. Wicker at home, Troy D. Oswald of Ocala, Florida, and Matthew H. Wicker Jr. of Colorado Springs; a brother, Toby C. (Betsy) Corle of Martinsburg; her grandmother, Mary M. Corle of Martinsburg; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Charley Jo Corle; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth Ross; and paternal grandfather, Joseph E. Corle.

Georganne was a 1992 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and also attended The Altoona School of Commerce and later earned a bachelor's degree in accounting.

She was a member of Claysburg Church of God and worked as a nurse's aide at Triple Home Health, Duncansville, and The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

Georganne served as a Girl Scout leader and also on the policy council for Child Advocates of Blair County (Head Start). She loved spending time with her family and friends and also enjoyed, camping, reading, plastic canvassing and spoiling her pet dogs.

Memorial contributions in memory of Georganne can be given to Claysburg Church of God, 4311 Evergreen Road, Claysburg, PA 16625; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38195.
