The proposed skate-board/BMX park at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park is dead. According to the president of the Skateboarders and Bikers of the Cove organization, there is not enough interest in continuing to raise funds for the project. Following a poor showing of volunteers at a March 30 meeting, President Suzanne McNally issued a deadline for volunteers to step forward and help with the project by the end of April. She received no response.
