Hail Storm

Shane Ritchey of Martinsburg photographed these hail stones that fell in the area during Tuesday night's storm. The storm dumped 1.59 inches of rain on the area, according to accuweather.com.

Trees and power lines were knocked down in the area. Severe storms were in the forecast on Wednesday and today, May 30.

According to accuweather.com, the area has received 6.14 inches of rain this month, almost double the average for the month of May.
