W-Burg Students Learning Job-Search Skills at 'Carnival'

This week was the first week for the Trail Town Market, Williamsburg. The lot beside on 1st Street between the Lower Trail head and Martin General was busy Saturday morning with fresh coffee, baked goods, activities for the children and early-season produce. Organizers want to have this as a weekly farmer's market on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Williamsburg Community Junior/Senior High School is collaborating with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, community businesses and other organizations to provide a Career Carnival to assist students in learning the necessary skills to be successful in employment.

This event will reach at least 230 students and will be held on June 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the high school gymnasium.
