CHARLES E. 'GENE' WORLEY

Charles E. “Gene” Worley, 60, of Martinsburg, died on Monday morning, May 27, 2019, at home, following an extended illness.

Friends will be received from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral on Saturday, June 1, at the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., http://www.thompsonfh.com, Roaring Spring. Pastor Aaron Musselman will officiate.

Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Gene was born on Oct. 2, 1958, in Altoona, the son of the late Helen (Worley) Nash.

He married Brenda Kay Beach on Jan. 2, 1983.

Gene is survived by his wife; a daughter, Laura J. Grove of Martinsburg; two grandsons: Jackson and Elijah; and a sister, Leilani Baxter.

He attended Hollidaysburg Area High School.

Gene was a member of Morrison Cove Baptist Church, Roaring Spring RR.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, and going to yard sales.
